In this class you will learn a series of 10 gentle exercises to create a joyful awareness of body and breath. Keeping our attention in the present moment, we will combine simple stretching and graceful gestures to harmonize mind and body. These movements build awareness of where your energies may be blocked and how you may gently work to bring balance, strength and energy into the ways you move.
Gentle mindful movement may improve circulation, promote physical and mental relaxation and establish physical, mental and emotional balance. Created by Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, these gentle meditations in motion may be practiced anytime you have a few moments to refresh your body and quiet your mind.
